LIBERTY VILLAGE
Coming soon to Toronto's thriving King West Village, Monarch introduces VIBE, at Liberty Village. The final phase of Monarch's hugely successful Liberty Village project. This area is filled with boutiques, cafes, galleries, pubs and nightclubs. This is downtown living. Feel the vibe.
Vibe at Liberty Village will be a 24-storey glass tower, joined to Monarch's first project in the neighbourhood, Battery Park, by a pedestrian bridge and close to its second building, Zip, which is under construction.
Liberty Village, just west of King St. W. and Strachan Ave., was an area of factories and railway lands. It has evolved from industrial uses to an artisans' neighbourhood to an area popular with technology, design and entertainment companies. The transformation of the Liberty Village/King West Village community has brought trendy cafes, galleries and boutiques ? as well as condos.
Vibe, which will include retail space, will offer amenities such as 24-hour concierge, car wash bay, guest suites and a moving/service room.
The suites will offer large windows and the floor plans that replicate the wide-shallow designs found in Zip. Units will range from 381 to 909 square feet with prices from $159,990 to just under $400,000. Suites include studios, one-bedroom and two-bedrooms, with and without dens, penthouses and lofts.
At Vibe, standard suite finishes include strip laminate flooring in the living/dining and kitchen, sisal or 40-ounce broadloom in bedrooms, individually controlled heating and air conditioning. Kitchens will have granite countertops, pantry or breakfast bar, ceramic backsplashes and stainless steel, Energy Star appliances. Bathrooms include marble countertops, ceramic flooring, five-foot soaker tub and separate shower.
The Vibe Club will include the Vivacity party room with caterer's kitchen and a bar that opens onto a landscaped patio with barbecue; the Bluffer's Lounge card room with poker table. Vibe and Battery Park residents will share access to the following amenities: Pulse, a fitness room with cardio, yoga and aerobics areas with TV and commercial-grade equipment; Tempo sports lounge; Gravity high-tech cyber lounge and Silver Screen, a theatre room.
Vibe residents will have access to Battery Park Club and/or Zip amenities, including an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, steam rooms, and a meeting room.
Vibe will include a host of environmentally friendly features including a green roof on the podium; high-efficiency hot water boilers; low-emissivity laminate flooring; water-saver, low-flow showerheads and low-flow lavatory faucets, etc.
Occupancy will start in December 2009.
